QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate with an MSc in electrochemistry or a closely related field with expertise in at least two of the following areas: liquid electrolyte chemistry, electrode and ink development. Knowledge in rubber systems is an advantage.
• Candidates with strong practical experience in these or similar areas will be preferred.
• Laboratory experience is essential, including glove box operation and chemical handling.
• Background in organic chemistry is an asset.
• Experience handling gases such as nitrogen and hydrogen in a lab setting.
• Strong skills in interpreting and applying scientific literature.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written). Other languages, such as Danish, are a bonus but not required.
• Confident in working with international technical partners, suppliers, and research peers.

• Lead the formulation and refinement of new electrolyte systems designed specifically for supercapacitor pouch cells
• Enhance process performance, chemical stability, and environmental footprint of supercapacitors.
• Evaluate systems across various stages—from lab testing of components to prototype units, to ensure they scale effectively.
• Perform detailed chemical and physical analysis of components before and after operation.
• Work in close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to accelerate innovation cycles.
• Tackle both scientific and operational challenges with a creative, solutions-oriented approach.
• Manage multiple research and development tracks focused on electrolyte and electrode performance and integration.
• Document findings clearly and present progress in a compelling and structured manner.
• Serve as a technical point of contact in external partnerships, helping ensure delivery of key project goals.
• Maintain alignment with best practices in safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.
• Ensure accurate and organized technical documentation.
