Description

Hands-on synthesis and formulation of materials for electrolytes Characterization of electrochemical performance and physical and chemical properties of materials Co-design experiments with a mentor and communicate results to the team Juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent grads Hands-on experience safely working on wet chemistry in a research lab or industrial setting Basic data plotting and analysis using excel, python, or other tools Preferred skills/Majors: Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields Hands-on experience in one or more of these areas is beneficial but not required 3 months or 6 month internships Working in a glovebox Polymer chemistry Characterization of mechanical properties Electrochemical sample preparation and measurement Battery materials

Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for the hands-on synthesis and formulation of materials intended for electrolytes. This includes characterizing the electrochemical performance and the physical and chemical properties of these materials.
