JOB SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing machinery and the facility as well as conducting preventive maintenance routines. This involves performing a variety of mechanical and other repair and maintenance work on engine-driven machinery, hydraulic units and tooling and auxiliary parts of equipment and tooling. Ensure maintenance, repair, installation and all other operations related to mechanical machinery. Ensure proper functioning and propose improvements for the various mechanical systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Is comfortable with the field of automation.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in Electro Mechanics or
• Attestation of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five years of experience in industrial mechanics.

DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES

• Identifies common malfunctions.
• Makes adjustments, tune-ups and repairs as required.
• Is in charge of preventive and predictive inspection of plant equipment.
• Performs certain work such as: change of filters, belts or any other defective parts of heating, refrigeration or ventilation systems.
• Performs necessary maintenance, lubrication and repairs on such systems.
• Disassembles machinery to remove damaged or worn parts, replaces or repairs them and reassembles everything. Verifies the result of his work by a test.
• Coordinates work performed by less experienced or unskilled workers.
