REQUIREMENTS

  • College or professional degree diploma in electromechanics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electromechanics
  • Highly developed analytical and logical skills.
  • Good organizational skills and capacity to set priorities.
  • Manually skilled.
  • Autonomous and resourceful.
  • Team spirit.
  • Fluency in French and/or English, spoken and written.
  • Flexibility for overtime, an asset.

    Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 15h20 à 23h45 (evening shift)

    This facility’s primary activity is plastic injection molding. We manufacture components used for our line of NuTek® electrical outlet boxes, our Marrette® line of twist-on wire connectors, and we supply our sister facilities with components for emergency lighting products and industrial and commercial electrical connector products.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and the repair of equipment.
  • In case of failure, identify the cause or defective item, and ensure equipment is quickly back in operation.
  • Innovate, improve, develop, automate and repair electrical/electronic components, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment of various building or production equipment/installations, to ensure optimal operation.
  • Ensure proper installation of new equipment.
  • Understand and use electrical drawings.
  • Cooperate, share and communicate with team members.
  • Know, respect and apply the health and safety rules.
  • Perform various tasks related to the position.
