Description

Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Location: Lachine, QC, H8T 3J8
Pay Rate: $21 per hr
Job Type: Contract (4 months)

Requirements:

  • 12th-grade education or equivalent.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge and experience with basic wiring schematic symbols is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components on panels, in enclosures, or on structures using standard layouts.
  • Perform basic/standard electrical wiring following shop drawings and customer schematics.
  • Wire non-standard electrical products under the guidance of a more experienced electrical assembler.
  • Conduct continuity checks (e.g., using buzzers).
  • Complete checklists as needed.
  • Assemble enclosures and structures as applicable.
  • Deliver sub-assemblies to production areas.
  • Support inventory maintenance in the sub-assembly area by performing cycle counts, following standard material handling procedures, and accessing information via CSSM.
