We are seeking innovative electromechanical designers passionate about commercial pulsed power or high-temperature applications. Candidates should have expertise in mechanical, electromechanical, high-temperature packaging, electrical, and pulsed-power design, along with proficiency in 3D CAD design and prototyping.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electromechanical design or a related field (other degrees or relevant experience considered).
  • 5–10+ years of experience in pulsed-power projects, mechanical engineering, or high-temperature packaging.
  • Experience in research, development, or prototyping environments.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15–20 years of experience in pulsed power, power electronics, or electromechanical design for government or industry projects.
  • Expertise in prototype or commercial hardware design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with scientists, engineers, and technicians to design prototype hardware from concepts and mechanical designs.
  • Using CAD tools to create 3D drawings for prototypes, laboratory hardware, and test assemblies.
  • Designing high-temperature packaging for durable, long-lifetime components.
  • Developing PCBs and advanced high-temperature, high-reliability electronic packaging.
  • Presenting work at design reviews, managing schedules, and tracking project costs.
  • Documenting design changes, failures, and corrective actions.
