Develop generic test platforms and custom tools for R&D scale development and pilot-scale deployment, for the energy-efficient compute applications Work with process engineers and research staffs to develop process and manufacturing technologies, enabled by custom-built tools and platforms Translate outcome of R&D processes and results to manufacturability Work with interdisciplinary teams to improve device efficiency and functionality Ph.D. in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related disciplines. Knowledge of high speed photonic interconnect, its key component and integration Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing tools, advanced manufacturing techniques Hands-on experience in building electromechanical test beds and metrology tools Experience working in cleanroom Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative R&D environment
