Job Description We are looking for an Electronic Engineer, with automotive background who will be involved on a Vehicle Electronic Control Unit inside of the Electronics department (Architecture team) of the Applus IDIADA Group, working from client facilities, located in Martorell. Your mission will be the responsible of a vehicle ECU: Responsible of a Vehicle Electronic Control Unit. Reporting of development status and incidences. You will have direct contact with OEM and ECU suppliers. Cooperate on the definition electronic systems for future vehicle projects. Release of ECU and components in consortium platforms. Your main responsibilities will be to give support the following areas, guaranteeing the methodology and traceability: Inputs from stakeholders. Technical product definition (experts on the systems/functions). Component owners & suppliers. Manufacturing. Quality. Qualifications Profile Leadership capabilities & excellent team-working, organization, communication & networking skills Should have 2 year minimum in Automotive Projects Good communication skills and confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels. Recognizable empathy, with team spirit, and with high level of assertiveness. Committed, goal driven, with successful result orientation and with strong service orientation. Open to work in a very international company with multicultural team. Education Bachelor's Degree in Electric or Electronic Engineering or similar. Languages Fluent English (verbally and in writing) and good documentation skills German will be also highly valuated. Additional valued competences Open mind to start the work since concept phase till design for manufacturing. Experience working on vehicle domains architecture. Derive and allocate requirements for Hardware, software, sensors, actuators, etc… Planification of introduction of new SW/HW with OEM and ECU suppliers. Define electronic schematics for ECU systems for all vehicle projects. Valuable experience with Databases (SYS42, KVS, te.VBV, DasCockpit, etc.) Attend design & management reviews.
