Valiant is seeking a full-time, skilled Electronic Maintenance Technician to report directly to the Site Manager.  The job responsibilities include:   * Perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance on all site training devices in accordance with all applicable safety and maintenance documents. * Perform trainer system startup /shutdown as required * Facilitate and assist connected events. * Ensure mission setup of all training devices prior to the start of scheduled missions.  * Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual periodic maintenance tasks. * Be able to effectively interface/communicate with U.S. Navy Aircrew personnel and other contractors.  * Maintain records to document and support maintenance efforts.  * Keep the Site Manager informed of training devices status and any on-going logistics efforts. * Perform MSP inventories as required by Site Manager * With Assistance, perform Organizational Maintenance on all site training devices in accordance with all applicable safety and maintenance documents. * Operate training devices and provide Instructor/Trainee/Inspector assistance in a timely manner. * Perform janitorial services on assigned spaces as required. * Work any shift and weekends as specified by the Contract for this site. * Perform other tasks as assigned.   Valiant Integrated Services is an employer who hires in accordance with applicable state and federal law. Qualifications SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Active Secret, TS/SCI preferred.  Position is contingent upon additional security vetting and Government approval.   CERTIFICATION:   An Information Assurance (IA) certification equivalency to IAT- I or II as applicable is   required.  CompTIA Security + desired. * Have applicable years’ experience in Network / Information Technology and/or Electronic Technician background for desired level of Electronic Maintenance Tech III, II or I. * Training or experience equivalency will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Government.   * Experience operating computer equipment and proficient in MS Word and Excel.   * Able to identify computer and computer network systems failures. * Demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as an Electronic Technician.  * 4+ years of electronics maintenance or graduation from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.  * Must always present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress.  * Previous Information Assurance / System Administration knowledge or experience is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Requires mental alertness and Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs is required.  * Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.  * Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
Responsibilities
The Electronic Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance on training devices and ensure their operational readiness for scheduled missions. They will also maintain communication with the Site Manager and U.S. Navy personnel regarding device status and logistics.
