Description SUMMARY: As an Electronic Monitoring Technician you will be responsible for installing, removing, and maintaining various GPS and Alcohol Monitors, among other things. You will act as a liaison between CPI and the courts, agencies, jails, and participants. The position does require local travel so reliable transportation is a must. RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, remove, maintain, and repair electronic monitoring devices. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic monitoring devices. Keep accurate records of all work performed. Work directly with and provide excellent customer service to court personnel, agencies, jails, and participants on a monitor. Schedule and conduct in person visits with participants for device inspection. Provide courtroom testimony when needed. Provide accurate reports to the courts. Maintain inventory of devices for multiple locations. Maintain cleanliness and inspection of devices. Act as liaison to the courts, agencies, jails, and participants. Review and process client payments. Assist in other company roles as needed. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Valid auto insurance. Reliable transportation. Clean driving history. Pass a pre-employment background check. Pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Great communication skills. Ability to testify in a courtroom. Must be comfortable entering a jail. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Must have conflict resolution skills.
