EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Proven diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically identify and resolve technical issues.
· Demonstrated experience in installing and servicing Electronic Security Systems.
· Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
· Strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service across a diverse client base.
· Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with test equipment, hand, and power tools.
· Flexibility to work variable hours, weekends, and “on-call” shifts as required.
· Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
· Networking knowledge is a significant asset.

KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Self-motivated and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Capable of working independently and following directions effectively.
  • Physically capable of lifting over 25 kg and moving heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Punctual and reliable with a professional demeanor.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to work with a variety of security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, Entrance Control gates, and Intrusion Alarm Systems. Knowledge of local building and life safety codes and computer networking is highly valued.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install and service Entrance Control and Cash Handling equipment.
· Perform CCTV system installations and maintenance.
· Conduct electronic security system installations and repairs.
· Service and install Access Control systems.
· Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs, consulting with clients to recommend security solutions.
· Complete and submit all paperwork accurately and on time.
· Maintain company vehicle, ensuring its security and proper usage in line with company policies.
· Pull and run wiring, program, and calibrate equipment while adhering to relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
