Description QRC is actively seeking an Electronics Technician to assemble, program and/or calibrate Electro Mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products in a light industrial production / lab environment. Works under and reports to the Production Supervisor. Essential Job Functions: Assemble and inspect small production batches of sub-assy and/or box level finished products. Program and/or calibrate Electro Mechanical Assembly. Interpret Cable Diagrams, Wiring Drawings and Schematics in support of troubleshooting to the circuit level. Light soldering of wire connections, passive components and connectors as well as touch-up of components to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Standards. Use of hand tools to cut, strip and crimp fine gauge wires in addition to torque drivers and other mechanical assembly tools. Requirements Basic Qualifications: Candidate should have knowledge of electronics and electronics repair with the experience and aptitude to mechanically assembly small batch runs of Production Material. Candidate must have the ability interpret work instructions and complex electrical and mechanical drawings. Candidate must have 2 to 5 years of experience as an Electronics Technician, or 5+ years as a Mechanical Assembler or equivalent Military Experience. Solid written communication skills and attention to detail Preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate basic soldering skills and/or have current IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 certifications. The candidate must be able to obtain a clearance when sponsored by QRC EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Electronic Training Certificate, and Military Electronics Training or applicable AA degree is preferred.
