Description Jaxon Engineering is looking for a full-time Electronic Test Technician to work at its headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO. Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, plus per diem pay while traveling Required Travel: Must be able to sustain up to a 50% travel schedule annually. Both domestic and international travel should be expected for this position. Requirements Performs electronic/mechanical technician duties in both laboratory and field settings Data reduction and analysis Provide accurate, high-quality drafts of documentation Operates and maintains electronic equipment, computers, industrial measuring and control equipment, high voltage power supplies, and mechanical systems Performs setup/teardown of test equipment Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical equipment and makes needed repairs Perform general construction activities Maintain strong, professional relationships with both internal & external customers Meet all applicable OSHA requirements Job Qualifications: Ability to work from electrical schematics and/or mechanical drawings, work independently and complete tasks on schedule Experience operating test equipment, hand soldering, and working with crimp tools Experience in basic electronic circuit troubleshooting and in mechanical assembly and disassembly Proficient with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong detail orientation Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and utilize ladders or step stools to reach heights of approximately 6 ft Possess a valid driver's license Ability to obtain & maintain a Dept of Defense Top Secret security clearance Prior experience working with Dept of Defense personnel preferred Prior construction, maintenance or electronics experience preferred Desired Qualifications: 1+ year experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly 1+ year experience in hand soldering and crimp tools 1+ year experience in operating and setting up test equipment 1+ year experience in basic electronic circuit trouble shooting Education & Experience: HS diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Electronics or Military Electronic Training preferred Application Deadline: Rolling – open until filled; candidates are encouraged to apply early.
