BRAEBON Medical Corporation is a leading developer of sleep diagnostic products.
We require a talented, self-motivated individual to join our Production Team. This dynamic person will have responsibilities throughout the product lifecycle, including inspection, assembly, testing and troubleshooting of electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies, as well as product sustaining support. Prototyping of potential NPI designs and the development of test jigs, some software may also be required; this an intermediate level position.

Job Function

In this role you will:

• Assist in the manufacture electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with specifications and tolerances
• Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on assemblies and record and analyze results
• Build and test products to specifications
• Solder and de-solder (SMT) surface mount electronics components (There will be test during the interview)
• Use comprehensive build instructions to manufacture products

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field
• Completion of a post-secondary program in a related discipline preferred
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and responsibility in a team environment
• Knowledge of electronics preferred
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills, proficiency in both written and oral English is an absolute essential requirement.
• Strong soldering and rework skills
• IPC A 610 and JSTD certification an asset
• Familiarity with ISO, FDA, or six-sigma an asset
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally permitted to work in Canada
