Opportunities abound at Vergent Products where you could be assembling lifesaving medical equipment, configuring an Internet-of-things device that makes people’s lives easier, or assembling products for national defense. Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm): Responsibilities: Safely assemble, test, and inspect electronic and electro-mechanical products from written instructions. Tasks and duties will vary according to the product and assignment. Assure no workmanship or material defects are passed downstream resulting in a defective free product delivered to the client. Report actual and potential quality issues for corrective/preventative action. Manage self to ensure on-time delivery of product at or below standard times under direct supervision. Complete work according to relevant standards (IPC) and work instructions. Make recommendations to improve quality, increase productivity, manufacturability, or reduce cost. Perform simple equipment and facility maintenance tasks as directed. Operate complex machines and/or uses automated tools. Perform rework and/or modifications to products from written documentation. Assist with equipment installations, moves, process qualification, and/or autonomous maintenance of equipment, facility, or tools. Requirements Experience with hand-soldering Experience with electro-mechanical inspection Valid drivers license Able to multi-task Attention to detail, accurate, organized and timely Asks questions and seeks direction Ability to Follow detailed instructions and reports any deviations to supervisor Works well with others Mechanical ability Ability to obtain ESD certification (we provide training) Ability to learn Electronic component identification Comfortable in a warehouse setting Ability to learn and follow OSHA safety standards Introductory knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook Communicate clearly and concisely (verbal and in writing) Ability to learn shipping and receiving, inventory and material handling concepts *No Recruiters or Agencies please
