Job Description: The Operations Associate position is a bargaining represented position and is responsible for all aspects of cable/harness assembly, to support electronic cabinets assembly, and/or electro-mechanical assemblies. Typical duties may include cable/harness assembly, hand soldering, mechanical assembly, inspection, electronic console assembly, electronic system assembly, point-to-point wiring. Key Responsibilities: Ability to read, understand, and interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions. Able to obtain IPC-620 and/or J Standard 001 certifications Demonstrated aptitude for cable/harness mechanical assembly Ability to tolerate exposure to solder paste, flux, and solder fumes. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance  Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot wire issues. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in mechanical assembly, hand soldering, and self-inspection IPC-610 certifications One (1) or more years of experience in high tech electronics environment One (1) or more years of experience in manufacturing   Completion of a certified technical school training Familiar with building rack/cabinet/console assembly. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary for this role is $25.57. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
