Electronics Design Support Engineer
Location: 100% On-Site at Supplier Facility

Position Overview
We are seeking an Electronics Design Support Engineer to assist in the development, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded controller hardware for aerospace applications. This role requires active participation in design processes, technical reviews, and lab-based hardware testing. The engineer will be accountable for ensuring design accuracy, compliance with standards, and effective cross-team collaboration to resolve technical challenges.
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct bench-level electrical/electronic testing and troubleshooting to validate system performance.
- Create and review schematics and develop detailed test procedures with defined test limits.
- Perform requirements validation and verification to ensure compliance with functional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers.
- Produce accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, including test reports and stakeholder presentations.
- Participate in electronic design reviews, assessing engineering data, and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Support troubleshooting of hardware in a laboratory environment, including diagnosing and resolving test failures.
- Apply standardized engineering processes and organizational workflows to ensure consistency and quality.
- Communicate effectively with design engineers and stakeholders to drive timely resolution of technical issues.
Minimum Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (due to ITAR restrictions).
- Hands-on experience supporting electronic design, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Proficiency in developing test procedures and documenting technical findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in both lab and office environments.
- Familiarity with structured engineering processes and document control practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with aircraft electrical/electronic systems (commercial or military).
- Knowledge of embedded systems development and avionics integration.
- Familiarity with aerospace safety standards and environmental testing protocols.
Work Environment
- Location: 100% on-site at supplier facility (no remote option).
- Schedule: First shift, Monday–Friday.
- Travel: Less than 10%.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
