VPT, Inc., a global leader in providing power conversion solutions for use in avionics, military, space and industrial applications, has an immediate opening for an Electronics Drafter. This is a full-time position located in our Blacksburg, VA headquarters. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Electronics Drafter will be a key member within our Quality Department. Responsibilities will include: * Work with electrical engineers to create schematics and lay out printed circuit boards (PCBs) for DC-DC converters and EMI filters * Modify existing PCB designs for product updates/improvements * Generate 3D models and dimension drawings of electronic components and hardware * Create assembly drawings and other production documentation * Communicate with various suppliers to ensure manufacturability of designs Because of the nature of the position, a US Person is required. Salary will be discussed with the candidate and is dependent upon knowledge and experience.
