We use the latest technologies to set new standards for the telematics industry. We are establishing a new department dedicated to Power Electronics Integrated Circuit design. This experienced and highly motivated group of engineers will lead the launch of IC design at Teltonika, defining specifications, developing methodologies, and creating the company’s first integrated circuit designs. In this role, you will: A typical workday will consist of the following main activities: · Schematic and PCB design for prototypes and evaluation platforms. · Development and assessment of new technical solutions. · Preparation of technical specifications and requirements. · Development of measurement and evaluation methodologies. · Electrical measurements, calculations, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting. · Prototype testing and creation of new test and validation scenarios. · Close collaboration with IC designers, manufacturing, and other engineering teams. · Working with professional measurement equipment. · Optionally – gradual involvement in IC design activities and competence building in integrated circuit design. What we expect of you: · Higher or advanced education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. · 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics or power electronics engineering. · Strong experience working with analog and power electronics circuits. · Ability to design and review schematics and PCBs using Altium Designer (or equivalent tools). · Experience designing PCBs for analog or power electronics systems. · Solid understanding of power converter operation (buck, boost, LDOs, drivers, etc.). · Practical experience with debugging functional issues, stability problems, and EMI/EMC-related behavior. · Ability to perform circuit simulations (LTspice, PSpice, or similar) and correlate them with measurement results. · Hands-on laboratory experience, including SMD soldering, rework, and prototype bring-up. · Confidence working with professional measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, power analyzers, etc.). · Ability to read, understand, and work with technical documentation and datasheets in English. Ideally, you’ll also have: · Strong theoretical and practical background in power electronics and power conversion topologies. · Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, measurement techniques, and mitigation methodologies. · Experience with PCB signal-integrity, power-integrity, or electromagnetic simulation tools. · Experience developing measurement automation software, including instrument control (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads) and data acquisition. · Previous exposure to or hands-on experience in integrated circuit design (analog, mixed-signal, or PMIC-related). · Understanding of the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to validation and production. · Proactive mindset: ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and generate technical ideas. · Strong motivation to learn, grow, and build competence in IC design within a developing team. Salary We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 15 Eur/h up to 35 Eur/h (~2520 Eur—5880 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get *bonuses. *In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
