OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and be adept at designing, developing, and testing digital and analogue electronic systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to contribute to various projects involving system design and implementation. Not all the skills listed are essential as the successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplined team. The minimum requirements are a degree in Electronics or closely related subject. Experience is not absolutely necessary as training will be provided on the job.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Ideally proficient in CAD software, including OrCad and Autodesk for 3D modelling however training will be provided.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of FPGA technology
  • Experience with ARM architecture for embedded systems development is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and methodologies for effective problem resolution.
  • Ability to interpret complex schematics and technical documentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.

  • Design and develop electronic systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing designs.
  • Utilise Orcad for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
  • Designing with microprocessors and other digital integrated circuits.
  • FPGA design using Altera Quartus.
  • Develop firmware for embedded systems using languages such as C++, Python, .
  • Perform signal processing tasks to enhance system performance.
  • Engage in debugging processes to ensure functionality and reliability of electronic components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical knowledge into electronic designs.
  • Execute soldering techniques for surface mount technology (SMT) components.
  • Conduct system design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
