Description

About Tulip Tech
We’re a fast-moving startup building next-generation battery systems for drones and electric aircraft. Our electronics need to be compact, safe, and bulletproof — because if they fail, things fall out of the sky.
At Tulip Tech, you won’t just sit behind schematics — you’ll design, solder, test, and improve boards until they’re ready to fly. We value initiative, speed, and a hands-on mentality.
The Role
As our Electronics Engineer, you’ll design and validate the electronics that sit at the heart of our battery systems. From PCB design to prototyping to compliance testing, you’ll own the process end to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design BMS circuits, PCBs, and schematics in Altium Designer
  • Prototype, solder, and debug with lab tools (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, JTAG)
  • Perform cell balancing, power distribution, and energy optimization
  • Test electronics under real-world conditions (thermal, vibration, high voltage)
  • Ensure compliance with CE, IEC, UN38.3 and other relevant standards
  • Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and software teams
  • Document specifications, test results, and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in PCB design and electronics development
  • Strong skills in Altium Designer
  • Hands-on mindset: comfortable with soldering, lab work, and debugging
  • Experience with BMS, high voltage design, or power electronics
  • Familiar with compliance and testing standards (CE, IEC, UN38.3)

What We Offer

  • Salary: €4.500 – €5.500 gross/month (depending on experience)
  • 38 paid days off per year (25 vacation + 13 ADV via CAO Metaal & Techniek)
  • 8% holiday allowance, pension via PMT, travel reimbursement
  • Daily company lunch
  • A young, international team with regular team activities
  • Freedom to design, test, and own the electronics that power the future of flight

Soort dienstverband: Fulltime, Parttime
Salaris: €4.500,00 - €5.500,00 per maand

Arbeidsvoorwaarden:

  • Bedrijfsfeesten
  • Flexibele werkuren
  • Mogelijkheid tot promotie
  • Pensioen
  • Reiskostenvergoeding
