The requirements of the job include:

  • Education (Degree or above) in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Digital electronic design experience (microcontroller, microprocessor)
  • Analogue electronic design experience (discrete and interfacing to sensors)
  • EMI/EMC and regulatory compliance experience is desirable.
  • Design verification and functional test software development is desirable (C/C++, Arduino, Pi)
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for embedded system hardware design changes - component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype debug, test, verification and pilot-run.
  • Design and implementation of test rigs for verification and functional test.
  • Documentation of the specification and implementation of design changes.
  • Design for volume production of products that are safe, reliable, and meet required industry standards
  • Work with other functional teams, such as Mechanical Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Service, Tech support, suppliers, and Operations to ensure the successful implement of design changes.
