Rincon Research Corporation seeks an Intern to work with our Electronics Design and Production staff. We are looking for a self-starting individual with a passion for electronic circuits and systems. Example projects include: digital circuits with FPGAs, embedded processors, RF circuits, mixed-signal circuits with analog to digital conversion, etc. This individual will work in a small team environment and will be involved with our hardware production efforts and our design and development project. Duties may include test, documentation, design and layout of circuit cards, integration of components into chassis systems, and may involve state-of-the-art FPGA and other emerging technologies. Other team members include assembly and test technicians, algorithm developers, mechanical engineers, embedded software engineers, GUI designers, FPGA firmware developers, and production support staff.  Come join the team that is creating cutting edge signal processing and geolocation systems for the future!   What required background will make you successful?   * Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or other equivalent field of discipline  * An interest in learning more about electronic hardware development, test, and production * Interest in learning more about electronic schematics, PCB layout, fabrication and assembly processes * Ability to follow procedures, use software scripts, and documentation for electronic test and development * Willingness to contribute in any variety of capacities which are determined by the business needs * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance * US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED     Preferred skills:   * Experience with RF and analog circuit design, as well as RF test equipment * Experience with Altium Designer and Vault/Concord * Ability to perform high-level system design  * Experience with integration, verification and timing analysis of digital logic and circuitry  * Working knowledge of high speed digital interfaces such as PCI Express, DDR3/4 SDRAM, 10Gb Ethernet, USB2.0/3.1, and JESD 204B   Where is the position located?
