Monday to Thursday 1pm-11pm
£25,065 rising by 15% once training is completed to £29,291.24

Our client is seeking an Electronics SMT Machine Operator to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in placing components on to PCB boards through SMT Machinery (training provided)
While training is provided you will be expected to work Monday to Thursday 08:30am-5pm and Friday 08:30am-3:30pm until competent to transfer to the Twilight shift.

The role of Electronics Machine Operator:

  • Running a Surface Mount Machine line to production schedule
  • Interpret documentation including parts lists, drawings
  • Follow documented procedures.
  • Preventative maintenance tasks and general housekeeping of the work area.
  • Ensure all work carried out is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
  • Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations

Experience of the Electronics Machine Operator:

  • Computer literate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry (essential)
  • Experience with industrial machinery (advantageous)
  • Use of fine tools and microscopes (advantageous)
  • Any form of electronics qualification (advantageous)
