About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Electronics Operator to join our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) team. Employment Type: Full-time Hourly Rate: $27.14 - $29.30 (+ 15% afternoon shift loading) Shift Time: 2:00pm - 10:06pm What you'll do Operate SMT production equipment safely and efficiently Perform through-hole soldering to IPC standards Operate selective soldering and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment Carry out PCBA assembly, inspection and rework to a high standard Ensure accuracy by self-checking work and minimising errors Replenish components and materials, and complete job changeovers smoothly Accurately record task times against Production Orders Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area Support minor maintenance activities as required Assist with other tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors and managers Qualifications Experience or knowledge of electronic components and assembly processes Background in electronics manufacturing (highly regarded) Strong manual dexterity, with the ability to handle small, delicate components Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools and fixtures High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy Comfortable working independently and managing your own output Experience assembling or inspecting products under a microscope (preferred) If you’re excited by the challenge of improving how world-class audio products are built—and want to be part of a team that values innovation and quality—we’d love to hear from you.
