Various pieces of equipment will be used to troubleshoot and test components to complete repairs. Electronics Repair Technician level 3 has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities to the job. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisor. Responsibilities and Duties Follow proper troubleshooting skills and procedures. Utilize systems in place for service call tickets, parts usage, and transfer of inventory. Assist Engineering in identifying issues and developing new repair procedures. Identify faulted components or manufacturing defects on production printed circuit boards (down to the component level) and submit them for re-work. Able to read schematics, troubleshoot, update, and work on all equipment and products in designated areas of responsibility. Test production printed circuit boards to include but not limited to functional and boundary scan tests. Repair production of printed circuit boards and electronic components in accordance with quality standards Perform highly specialized electronic assembly involving integrated circuits. May train and/or oversee the work of other technicians. Performs other related duties as required Requirements Qualifications 5-7 years experience Advanced Soldering/De-soldering techniques are required (Thru Hole/SMD/Fine-Pitch SMD/BGA) Good work ethic with good attendance Technicians must be able to work in a team environment. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift heavy objects
Responsibilities
