Position:
Z-AXIS, Inc., a growing manufacturer of electronic assemblies requires a solder inspector. In this position you will be trained to use a soldering iron and other equipment to make necessary repairs to circuit board assemblies. No experience is needed and full on the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities Include:
·Inspect circuit board assemblies for manufacturing defects.
· Use soldering iron and other tools repair defects.
· This is an important role within manufacturing. Our circuit board assemblies perform critical functions in medical, military, aerospace, and commercial applications.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship (we do some government work)
• A positive work ethic and attitude
• Ability to work with small parts. Maintaining quality and accuracy while performing in a fast paced environment is a must.
• Experience in electronics assembly is preferred but not required.

Z-AXIS Inc. provides quality design, prototyping and contract manufacturing services for complex electronic products and electromechanical assemblies. These devices include industrial controls, avionics, laser drivers, machine controls, and electronic medical devices. We also design and manufacture commercial, industrial, medical custom power supplies under our Bear Power Supplies brand. We are centrally located between Rochester and Syracuse in upstate NY. We own our modern 32,000-square-foot design and manufacturing center and we are ISO9001:2015 certified. Z-AXIS has over 90 employees working in a single shift.
