Description

Summary: Teardown, cleaning, & prep of electronic controls & assemblies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Disassemble, scrape labels, cleaning, & polishing of electronic controls. Identify different makes & models of electronic controls. Identify worn & burnt PCB’s or damaged cases & housing. Make ready good parts for bench techs & assemblers. Help maintain inventory of rebuildable parts. Keep work area clean & organized. Help maintain a safe work environment. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong verbal & written communication skills. Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a workbench. Must be able to 40 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, and preparation of electronic controls and assemblies. This includes identifying makes and models, detecting damaged PCBs, and maintaining an inventory of rebuildable parts.
