Job Details Job Location: Houston, TX 77041 Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly The Electronic tech is responsible to install, troubleshooting and repair all the equipment in our department, assist with all PM, must be available to work as a team and close cooperation with production department. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision. Performing preventive maintenance routines on process. Prepares machinery for production (including code date changes, test running machines, setting glue pattern, checking for electrical malfunctions,) before startup of shift. Strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards during the job. Observe standards for safe working conditions, follow all procedures. DESCRIPTION Troubleshoot motors using multi miters. Perform tests on all machine component Use measuring tools and equipment to Install, troubleshoot, repair, replace and maintain electrical motors and motor controllers including manual starters, push buttons, relays, control transformers, magnetic starters and VFDs. Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain all plant equipment through the application, troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology. Read electrical and electronic schematic basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Preventive maintenance on Equipment-identifies weakness in design and implement improvements. Pulling wires and terminating conductors in disconnects, panel boards, control panels, motor starters. Maintain accurate records and fill reports. COMPETENCIES Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and interpersonal skills. EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical or electronic experience with low voltage control through 480Volt 3Phase power.
