Description

The Electronics & Controls Engineering Technician supports engineering development initiatives through the design, prototyping, testing, and production support of electronic control systems. This role combines hardware development, embedded software programming, and hands-on troubleshooting to support both internal engineering and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provide electrical and electronic troubleshooting support to customers, engineering personnel, and production staff. * Design, assemble, and test prototype electronic circuit boards and control systems. * Develop and maintain embedded software used to control electronic devices and systems. * Build, program, and maintain electronic testing and validation equipment. * Support transition of prototype designs into production through coordination with external manufacturing vendors. * Diagnose system performance issues across hardware and software environments. * Document designs, testing procedures, and operational functionality. * Assist engineering teams in development and refinement of electro-mechanical control solutions.
