Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Technician III to join our dynamic team. The Electronics Technician III will provide professional technical support for various radar systems. Specific areas of interest include Transmitter repair, high voltage power supply repair, signal processing, fault isolation, obsolescence engineering research, component/system testing, and process/procedures enhancements. Position Responsibilities Duties will include radar system maintenance, repair, overhauls, fabrication of cable harnesses, parts inventory management and complete system testing using approved procedures. Must work with other technicians in testing and repair of AN/SPQ-9B and AN/SPS-48 radar system and associated equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively with Task Lead, Branch Manager, ISEA and US Navy fleet. Must be able to provide troubleshooting assistance to the ISEA and US Navy. Must maintain parts inventory in accordance with OM&S regulations. Must be able to communicate effectively with Task Lead, Branch Manager, ISEA and US Navy fleet. Must be able to install SPG-62 and SPG-67 Antenna's on a testing tower that is 65 feet above the ground using an Aerial Lift. Must be able to tune the Antenna by adjusting antenna rings, replacing Phase blocks, adjusting feedhorns etc. Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience on Radar system maintenance and repair, AN/SPQ-9B and AN/SPS-48 experience preferred. Solder certified, knowledge of electronics, ability to read and understand schematics. AS or Equivalent Experience. Must be able to obtain the following: J-STD 001 Solder Certification. IPC-7711 Solder Certification. IPC-7721 Solder Certification. Fall Protection End User. Forklift operator qualified. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
