Department: Remanufacturing Operations
Location: Raleigh, NC
Reporting To: Plant Manager
Status: Part-Time (1099, with potential to transition to W-2 full-time)
Hourly Rate: $17 - $20
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

As we continue to grow in 2025, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Technician with soldering and diagnostic skills to support our bench-level repairs, wiring harness work, and R&D testing.

REQUIRED HARD SKILLS

  • 2+ years of soldering experience, including small-gauge wire
  • 2+ years of electrical repair and assembly experience
  • Comfortable using magnifying equipment for small components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly and testing in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong basic math, reading, and writing skills

REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Teachable and open to feedback

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Electronics Technician, you’ll support our remanufacturing operations by performing precise electrical repairs, harness modifications, ECU bench testing, and component-level troubleshooting. Your work ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of every hybrid battery system we deliver.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Replace and repin connectors on hybrid ECU units
  • Support electrical testing and prototyping on research and development projects
  • Repair and replace busbars, terminals, and internal wiring on hybrid harnesses
  • Inspect and test ECUs for functionality and pass/fail quality certification
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on remanufacturing equipment
  • Use magnification tools for delicate soldering and electrical assembly
