The Electrophysiology (EP) device tech develops a broad knowledge of EP devices, their manufacturers and functions, as well as new technologies as they emerge. This role serves as a liaison between the physician and the patients, collects and evaluates device data, and prepares reports to determine follow up requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED
• Preferred Associate’s Degree
• 1 year Remote device or electrophysiology experience Preferred
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Licensure - . ECG Course
• Licensure - . Industry online training academy that includes: cardiac physiology, disease and rhythms; pacing therapy; ICD therapy; cardiac resynchronization therapy, syncope and cardiac monitors and temporary pacemakers.
• Licensure - . Certified Device Clinic Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technologist (CRAT) from a recognized device training school or industry
