Summary of duties: An exempt position with clinical, administrative and educational responsibilities in the care of patients requiring cardiac care. Under the supervision of the Executive Committee, Executive Leadership Group and the APP Council, the NP or PA will have a critical role in the ambulatory and acute care setting, with both team member and individual duties Position conditions: AHA ACLS and BLS certification required Willingness to work in multiple clinic locations and hospitals Willingness to work a variable schedule as required Please note: Our local hospitals, Providence Alaska Medical Center and Alaska Regional Hospital, require healthcare providers to be fully credentialed prior to their first working day. Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 3-4 months, but can vary. Compensation: Commensurate with experience Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at AHVI in a similar role.
