Job Profile Summary Performs in a leadership role within the Electrophysiology Lab and acts as a physician technical extender with the knowledge skills and abilities to support the high end clinical execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the laboratory setting. Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of services. Assist the attending physician or Fellow in the technical performance of electrophysiology procedures. Implements procedure specific technical interventions based upon the individual patient physician and procedure support needs. Actively participates in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities for self while assisting in the professional development of others. Provides for a safe environment of care. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Bio Medicine a Life Science or related discipline. Specialized formal and/or on the job training in a comprehensive electrophysiology setting or background preparation in Bio Engineering or a Life Science. Experience: 5 years relevant experience in invasive cardiology preferably relative to this position. Licensure: Heart Rhythm Society IBHRE Certification for Electrophysiology within 18 months of hire. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. hire. The starting base rate for this role is $82,700.80 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
