Position: Licensed Electrical Technician
Region: Ottawa
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts
Industry: Manufacturing
Salary: $40 to $43 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications for the Licnsed Electrical Technician Position in Ottawa
Hold an electrician’s license (309A or 442A).
Experience in troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Knowledge of Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs.
Proficiency in using Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Skill in using thermocouples and force sensors.
Ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Electrical Technician Position in Ottawa
Inspect, repair, and install electrical equipment for general plant and production maintenance.
Provide technical support to the maintenance team and operations.
Proactively troubleshoot equipment problems to reduce production downtime.
Install and repair electrical control systems and networks.
Monitor operations to prevent equipment failures and resulting production losses.
Work as a team to ensure smooth operations.
