We encourage you to explore our beliefs to determine if our mission is your calling.   Job Summary: Oklahoma Christian University seeks a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in the School of Education beginning August 1, 2026. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate education courses, advising and mentoring students, supporting recruitment efforts, supervising clinical placements, and serving on university and School of Education committees.   Minimum Qualifications: * Master’s degree in Education  * Hold a valid teaching certificate in elementary or early childhood grades (OK or other state) * Three years of full-time teaching in elementary grades * Active member of a local church and aligned with OC’s Christian mission Preferred Qualifications:  * Terminal degree in Education and/or closely related field. * Literacy/Reading Specialist, as evidence of degree, certification(s), and/or scholarly work. * Experience with the Science of Reading * Accreditation familiarity, including CAEP preferred * Five or more years public K12 experience * University teaching experience * Curriculum design and/or teaching experience at K12 or higher education level Responsibilities: * Teach 24 hours per year in the field of education at the undergraduate * Provide spiritual, academic, and professional mentorship to students * Assist with recruiting, retaining and practicum placement of education students * Represent the School of Education with K12 partners, including school sites, OK State Regents for Higher Education, and accrediting bodies * Serve on university and School of Education faculty committees * Teach 24 hours per year in the field of education at the undergraduate * Provide spiritual, academic, and professional mentorship to students * Assist with recruiting, retaining and practicum placement of education students * Represent the School of Education with K12 partners, including school sites, OK State Regents for Higher Education, and accrediting bodies * Serve on university and School of Education faculty committees * Other duties as assigned  Timetable: Application review will continue until the position is filled. Responsibilities
