Job Overview The Aide Bilingual will assist the classroom co-teachers in performing a variety of instructional tasks to support bilingual students. The work is performed under the direct supervision of the ESL teacher, building administrator, and appropriate supervisor. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Instructional Support Perform instructional in-class support activities with Language E P (bilingual and ESL) students with individualized and small group instructional support in small groups as directed by the classroom co-teachers and the ESL teacher Provide vocabulary support to English language learner in the general education classroom setting Assist in administering assessments for the identification and program monitoring of English language learners Campus Support Assist in supervision of students Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required while maintaining confidentiality of student information. Attend meetings and district trainings as required Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily.
