A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, focused on an Elementary K-5 Setting 3 classroom serving students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD). This role involves working with a small group of 7-10 students, supported by significant paraprofessional assistance, within an established program emphasizing collaboration and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs in an EBD Setting 3 classroom
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote student success and social-emotional development
• Utilizing strategies and interventions suitable for elementary-aged students requiring specialized instruction
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with families and staff
• Contributing to a positive, supportive learning environment that fosters student growth

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Preferred Tier 3 Special Education License; candidates with Tier 4 licenses will also be considered
• Open to new graduates and candidates with pending licensure, emphasizing a willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Experience or familiarity with Setting 3 special education environments, especially with EBD populations
• Strong teamwork skills, flexibility, and a growth mindset to adapt within a well-established team
• Commitment to supporting students academic and behavioral progress in a small classroom setting

• Contract duration: August 25, 2025, to June 4, 2026 (25/26 school year)
