Yellow Medicine East, Bert Raney Elementary, is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE Elementary Special Education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications: Valid MN Teaching License in Special Education or ability to obtain one
Preference for dual licensure in Special Education and Early Childhood Special Education
Job Duties: Provide direct services to students with disabilities, work with classroom teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure IEP supports and services are implemented and adhered to across educational settings, complete initial and re-evaluations, communicate with parents and related service providers on a regular basis, adhere to due process timelines and complete special education paperwork in compliance with MDE standards, other job related duties as assigned.
Salary/Benefits: The position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, including FREE single health and long term disability insurance, plus generous contributions toward dental and life insurance. Additional benefits include TRA retirement, a 403(b) match program, and generous leave time. The salary range for a 1.0 FTE (based on qualifications and experience) is $41,837 to $80,788. Please note that this range is based on the current year’s figures, as the 2025-2026 contract is yet to be finalized.
