Southside Christian School, located in Clayton, NC is seeking a dynamic and creative Elementary STEM Teacher to lead hands-on, inquiry-based instruction in science, technology, engineering, and math for grades K4–5th. This role involves designing engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation, while collaborating with classroom teachers to integrate classroom lessons into the STEM curriculum and lessons plans.
This position would teach K4(preschool) to 5th grade. You would have 15 students at a time for sessions for 40 minutes. We would love a wide range of STEM topics to be taught at grade and appropriate developmental levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is advantageous.
• Experience in curriculum development related to STEM subject matter is highly desirable.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in education, science, technology, math, engineering, or a related field
• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• A member in good standing at a church with biblical doctrine consistent with Southside Christian’s statement of faith
• ACSI Certification or the ability to obtain ACSI Certification
• Previous experience in teaching or mentoring is a plus
