Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Alberta curriculum outcomes
• Implement a variety of instructional strategies, including project-based learning
• Support diverse learners using differentiated teaching methods
• Integrate technology (e.g., SMART Boards, iPads, STEAM resources) into daily instruction
• Assess and evaluate student progress; maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents
• Develop course outlines and learning objectives in alignment with curriculum guidelines
• Maintain strong classroom management and a calm, professional approach in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and contribute positively to a faith-based school environment
