Christel House Indianapolis is currently seeking an Elementary Teacher at Academy South. Days of Service: 192 Days Job Tasks: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that facilitate active learning. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the data to adjust instructional strategies. Facilitate student conferences and maintain regular communication with students in regards to grades, attendance and any other pertinent topics. Participate in appropriate professional activities. Ability and willingness to work collaboratively, maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships. Other duties assigned. Requirements: Valid IN Teaching License Bachelor’s degree Competency in using technology in the classroom setting. Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
