Upper Elementary Teacher Location: Davidson Charter Academy – Lexington, NC Employment Type: Full-Time, 10-Month Contract, 2025-2026 School Year Davidson Charter Academy (DCA) is a tuition-free public charter school committed to providing an innovative and rigorous academic program that prepares students for success. Davidson Charter Academy is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Teachers to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging, effective lesson plans that align with state standards. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. NC Educator's License or eligibility to obtain one. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Salary & Benefits Salary: NC Certified Teacher Salary Schedule Additional 3% supplement (paid in December and June) Up to 6% Employer 403(b) Contribution Match 10 PTO days per year (unused PTO rolls over until maximum accrual is reached) 9 Paid Holidays Medical insurance coverage (employer-paid up to $554.57/month) Employer-funded Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Coverage Employment Terms All teachers at Davidson Charter Academy are on one-year contracts. Contract renewal is contingent upon successful performance, completion of duties and expectations, and available funding.
