WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

EPSD9 is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic educator who holds a current Oregon Teaching License with the appropriate endorsement(s)
for the elementary level and meets the requirements to be designated Highly Qualified by TSPC. The ideal candidate brings content expertise,
strong classroom management skills, and a passion for working with elementary students.
Successful candidates will demonstrate collaboration, professionalism, and strong communication skills. They will also be able to adapt instruction to
meet diverse learning needs, maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students, and reflect positively on the teaching profession.
Experience with technology integration and formative/summative assessment strategies is highly valued.

Responsibilities

The Elementary Teacher at Lake Creek Learning Center will plan, deliver, and assess instruction in alignment with Oregon state standards and
district curriculum goals. This role requires effective classroom management, collaboration with colleagues and families,
and a commitment to continuous professional growth. Teachers are expected to support a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate
learning environment that addresses individual student needs and fosters academic success.
Responsibilities include preparing engaging lessons, maintaining a classroom culture of respect and high expectations,
using data to guide instruction, participating in school initiatives, and supporting student assessment and intervention strategies.
Teachers will also participate in building and district-level professional development, adhere to board policies and procedures,
and contribute to the broader school community.
