Description REPORTS TO: PreK-4th Principal STATUS: Full-Time; Exempt (Long Term Sub) START DATE: November 2026 - March 2027 HOURS: School calendar and hours of operation Overview: LCA hires staff who care about the spiritual and academic growth of their students, who maintain high academic standards, and who love Christ and live by biblical principles. This teacher will teach in Elementary as a Long-Term Sub covering a leave of absence. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith. Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship. Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and biblical worldview perspectives to their students’ lives. A demonstrated knowledge of reading, phonics and math instruction and a clear pedagogical understanding of how to teach these concepts at an age-appropriate level. Can articulate and share examples of clear, consistent, and effective classroom management techniques. Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students. BA degree required in any field.
