Do you love fostering a supportive, engaging, and challenging learning environment for elementary-aged learners? Bon Accord Community School is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Full-Time Temporary Elementary Teacher. This 1.0 FTE position runs from August 25, 2025, to October 31, 2025, and will continue at 0.5 FTE from November 1, 2025, to June 26, 2026. Bon Accord Community School offers Pre-K-4 programming and is located approximately 20 minutes north of the City of Edmonton in the Town of Bon Accord. The school has a student population of approximately 210 students and a dedicated teaching and support staff working together as a team to provide exemplary education to all students. The school nurtures a safe and caring environment through offering various programs to encourage strong leadership.

• Lead a vibrant and inclusive elementary classroom
• Support early learners in developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills
• Create a nurturing, play-based learning environment that supports student growth
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to support student needs

What You Bring:

• A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Minimum of three years experience teaching early elementary students
• Deep understanding of early brain development
• Proficiency in early literacy and numeracy
• Proficiency in using educational technology
• Enthusiasm for helping young learners grow in confidence and creativity
• A flexible, student-centered approach
• Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
