We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Elementary Teaching Assistant to join us at Unionville College to work in our primary classrooms. This is a fantastic opportunity to the development of our students and gain valuable experience in an engaging educational environment. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality instruction, creating a positive learning environment and supporting student success.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in childcare, particularly in an educational setting, is preferred.
• Educational requirement: OCT and RECE is an asset
  The workweek is from Monday to Friday for 8 hours per day between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

• Assisting the teacher in creating lessons that provide differentiations and accommodations for individual students
• Assisting the teacher in delivering the subject matter according the Ontario School Curriculum guidelines and Unionville College practices
• Assisting students in establishing daily routines and developing positive study habits
• Assuming responsibility for the lunch time, before and after school programs, and recesses as required
• Other duties as assigned
