The position requires a hands-on approach to mechanical and electrical tasks, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.   Job Location: Calgary  Responsibilities * Always adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. * Work as part of a team under the direction of the Lead Mechanic, ensuring clear communication and teamwork. * Drive to job site locations or arrange carpooling with the Lead Mechanic as needed. * Ensure all installations meet technical specifications and quality standards, completing installations on time and within allocated hours. * Maintain professional behavior, courtesy, and ethical standards when interacting with customers, colleagues, and other trades. * Perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Be able to lift and move heavy objects as part of the job. * Troubleshoot issues during installation and collaborate with the Lead Mechanic to ensure flawless functionality of the elevator upon completion. * Represent the company professionally, using good judgment and maintaining a polite demeanor when dealing with customers. * Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Lead Mechanic in alignment with the role. Mindset, Skills & Education * Energetic, eager, tenacious! * Grade 12 education is mandatory. Additional courses in electrical systems will be considered an asset. * Sound mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a strong interest in building, repairing, and constructing. * Valid driver’s license in good standing, clean police check, and bondable. * Positive attitude, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and capable of maintaining a neat and clean appearance. * Strong listening and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. * Must be physically capable of performing the job’s demanding activities.
