Description Join our team for the summer harvest! We are seeking a Summer Elevator Operator (typically May - July), this role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with the receiving, storing, and shipping of grain, as well as performing basic maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: Provide prompt, professional customer service and assist with inquiries or concerns Load and unload grain trucks; inspect grain for moisture, insects, and foreign material Operate grain handling equipment (conveyors, trippers, flow pipes, etc.) Monitor and record grain temperatures Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Complete required paperwork accurately and communicate effectively with team members Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work flexible hours during harvest, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights Comfortable working in environments with grain dust, noise, and varying weather conditions Willingness to work long hours during seasonal harvest periods (typically May–July and/or fall) Strong attention to safety and ability to follow all safety protocols Dependable, team-oriented, and strong communication skills Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
